Instructor portal overview
The instructor portal has its own sign-in, separate from the admin portal.
Your schedule
The dashboard lists your sessions with date, time, duration, groups and the students booked into each. For supervised sessions it also shows the lab and seat.
Each row's action reflects where that evaluation stands:
| Action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Evaluate | Not started |
| Resume | A draft exists — your scoring was saved automatically |
| Edit | Submitted, and still inside the one-hour change window |
| View | Submitted and locked |
Running an evaluation
Open the evaluation drawer, pick the project and tooth, and score against the criteria.
Your work is saved automatically as you go. You can close the drawer and come back to it — the draft is restored, including partial scoring. If you close with unsaved changes you will be asked to confirm first.
Criteria appear in a set order chosen by an administrator, matching the real inspection sequence. That order is deliberate; work down it rather than jumping around.
The one-hour edit window
Once you submit, you have one hour to reopen and change the evaluation.
Two details worth knowing:
- The hour runs from your first submission. Submitting again does not extend it.
- After the hour, the action becomes View and the evaluation is locked. If a correction is genuinely needed after that, an administrator has to make it.
If you try to edit just as the window closes, you will get a clear message and the schedule will refresh rather than silently discarding your change.
History
The history page shows your past sessions and evaluations, and your aggregate performance.
Students can leave a 1–5 star review on an evaluated work check. Reviews are visible to administrators; use them as feedback, not as a grade.
